Essentials for On-the-Go!

You know those mornings, when you wake up so late that you have only 5 minutes to get ready?! Well, I've had my fair share of those and after A LOT of practice, I've come up with 3 essentials you need to make yourself look presentable!

1. BB Cream: It has sunscreen and enough coverage to smooth out little imperfections to give you an overall clean look. Sunscreen is a big deal for me because nothing causes your skin to age and pigment the way the sun does. I also lived in Dubai and Qatar where the sun is SO strong that I really felt that I needed at least something to protect my face. Most skin experts recommend using sunscreen in your early 20's to keep youthful looking skin...so if you don't already, start using sunscreen. Unless you live in Karachi, where anything you put on your face will just melt off in seconds.....but still a girl can try, right?!

2. Mascara/Eye Liner: I usually go for eyeliner, but good Lord there are days when I can't get those lines even! Sometimes when I have legit 5 minutes to get ready and I make the mistake of using eyeliner, I end up getting stuck forever because it's not even! For days like that, I use mascara instead. While eyeliner does greatly help to make you look good, mascara opens up your eyes and gives you that extra oompf! You can also use colored eyeliner or mascaras to give extra emphasis, like for my eyes I usually do blue to make my eye color pop

3. Lipstick: I actually never ever wore lipstick till I got married, like I would literally have a face full of makeup at times with no lipstick. I felt that lipstick made me look much older than I am, but then I had a baby and now I look like an aunty anyways so why not?! But on the real, just adding a little lipstick to your look really makes you look put together and kind of dressed up...depending on what kind of look your're going for. A gloss is just as good, especially if you're going somewhere casual and it's during the day time. Lighter colors are usually better for such occasions, but when you have time for nothing at all you can wear a nice bright lipstick which attracts all the attention to your lips and and believe it or not that's enough!
