Beautify By Amna Review

Lately, I've been seeing pictures all over instagram about these products from Beauty by Amna. Mostly, I saw a 24 karat Gold serum and a primer and those are the two I ended up trying out.
The first step was the serum, which they claimed would give you glowing and radiant looking skin and it is also meant to hydrate your face to avoid crease lines and all that. I applied the serum on my skin and it did have a nice dropper and it was full of gold particles. Once on my face, it did not absorb well at all and left my face with a layer of what felt like oil. I also did not see any of the "glow" that you were supposed to get. There were a lot of gold particles in the the dropper but none of them came onto my skin to give that glowy effect.
The next step was applying the primer. They mentioned that the primer was meant for people with oily skin because it was water based and didn't contain any oil, so it was supposed to mattify your face and give a smooth finish before applying foundation. Once I applied the primer, immediately I felt as if my skin couldn't breathe. It felt really weird, as if all my pores were just shut which in turn made me feel like it was really hot. Like the serum, this also left a layer of oilyness on my skin. I did wait a good 5 minutes for it to mattify or smooth out but nothing really happened.
When you're living in a place was humid as Karachi, you can't go around wearing makeup which gives this feeling. It said it was made for oily skin, I have normal to dry skin so if that was the reaction to dry skin, I can only imagine how it would be on oily skin. Personally I don't think I would be using these products again as they really don't do anything for my skin. In place of this I use the glowy primer by E.L.F which I can vouch for and tell you guys it's amazing! It really does make your skin glow even after you've put on foundation! Has anyone else tried these products by Beautify by Amna, what did you guys think?!
