Kerastraight....is it worth it?

I'm basically obsessed with trying any new treatment or product, whether it's beauty related or not. It also explains why I dye my hair so much and try so many new colors! So anyways, all that hair dying obviously had a toll on my hair. My hair used to be very thick and silky straight (I really did luck out in the hair department) but ever since I started dyeing my hair, it's become very dry and brittle and I have SO many tangles. I once used to not have to brush my hair when I took a shower, it would just air dry on it's own and look nice. Now, even when I use conditioner I can't manage to brush my hair.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I used Loreal Pro Fibre and fell in love with the results. The only problem I had was that with baby, I couldn't manage a 10 minute mask with every hair wash. So I eventually stopped doing it regularly and ended up only doing it once in a blue moon. Meanwhile I got babylights in my hair and had to keep getting my hair glossed because it would wash out every month and my babylights would be blonde. Basically, all the effect Pro Fibre had on my hair was slowly being cancelled out and it was going back to what it used to be.
My hair lady told me that to fix it, I should get Keratin treatment as that would help to strengthen the bonds in my hair and make it manageable again. Now, it's very hard for me to go to the salon and long long treatments done the way I once used to because baby just doesn't sit still at the salon and she doesn't really stay without me for too long. I finally managed to get some time and look into Keratin, when someone suggested I try Kerastraight.
Kerastragiht is a treatment that claims to fix difficult to manage hair into straight and manageable hair. It's a semi permanent treatment that lasts upto 4 months before it starts to fade. They state that their product is suitable for all hair types, it eliminates frizz, it strengthens your hair and it is humidity resistant. That being said, it took me two and a half hours for my treatment. It began with a prewash where they let their product sit in my head for 5 minutes and then rinsed. Afterwards they applied another product to my hair which I had to let sit for 45 minutes. Once my time was up, they rinsed my hair and blow dried it and then it was straightened with an iron. Everything was more or less routine until the straightening, I don't know if it was the particular ladies that did my hair or it was just the way it is, but my hair was pulled SO much when they straightened it. Afterwards I was told that to make sure the results last the actual 4 months that they claim I must use their homecare products. They also said, that the first time I wash my hair, to make sure I rinse it for a good 3-5 minutes as their product has a lot of protein that is in my hair and not been washed out.

It's been almost a week since I've had the treatment and I am using their homecare, this is my revew. Firstly, the treatment lightened my hair color by a lot (they did warn me in the beginning though that this would happen and that I could re-dye my hair after 2 days). I had dark red hair and after the treatment it had gone at least 2 shades lighter. Secondly, I don't know if the ladies that did my hair didn't do it as well or that it's just how my hair is, but it's not poker straight the way they claim....I do have the odd wave in my hair. But nothing major though, it looks more or less straight. I can make a high pony again, I literally haven't been able to do that in so long! Last and most importantly, my hair is still not tangle free. I can't lie, the tangles are much less than before, but they declare that the hair should be completely strengthened and it should be soft and manageable. This is one of the biggest problems for me, the fact that it's been a week and my hair still has tangles. As you can see in the picture, the bottom of my hair still looks really dry. I wish I had taken a "before" picture but all I have right now is an "after" one. Who else has tried KeraStraight and what are your thoughts?!
