It's All About the Eyes!

I'm definitely an eye person when it comes to makeup so having eyeliner that will not budge, and i really mean won't budge is very important to me. While I have tried as many as I can get my hands on, my favorite colors till date will always by a nice navy blue and the classic black. I go for other colors to, but I usually find myself reaching for these two colors the most. Mac's Petrol Blue eye liner, which unfortunately is very hard to find these days was THE ONE when it came to shades of blue. A funny thing happened with that though, for some reason it doesn't come on....the pencil has become very rough and now whenever I have to apply it I literally hurt my own eye because I have to push so hard to get it to show. I even tried to heat it up before applying it but that ended up in disaster. But anyways, here goes my list of favorite eyeliners. I could discuss eyeliner forever but I have narrowed it down to 3 main ones!
One of my absolute favorite eyeliners is the Highliner Gel Eye Crayon by Marc Jacobs. This one does not move and does not bleed out, even when I wash my face. They have recently come out with so many colors for this collection and I haven't had the chance to try them yet but I'm dying to try! I bought this in black and my god it gives the best sultry, smokey look! Not only does it stay put but it glides on so easily, I use it on top and on the bottom of my eyes. Of course the crayon/pencils don't always give the liquid liner effect when it comes to cat eyes, but I don't usually do a cat eye for my everyday look so it doesn't really matter to me.
Another one I love is the Benefit, They're Real! Push Up Liner. I actually was one of the last people out of my friends to try this because I had gotten the other eye liner Bad Gal earlier and it was just SO bad. The color was not pigmented enough and came out gray, it also would get wiped off so fast. I ended up drawn to it because I can't lie, Benefit has some of the most eye catching packaging ever! So basically I had assumed that this would be bad too, but boy was I wrong. This one is amazing, mostly because it is SO easy to put on and it literally gives you the easiest cat eye, no struggle involved! It also lasts a long time on your eyes and the actual product also lasts a long time, not one of those that you have to replace every month!
One surprising brand on my list is Laura Mercier, I had never heard about their eye liner. I bought it just to try and was very happy with the results! It is extremely pigmented and smudge proof, water proof! I usually use it under my eye because I love how it stays put.
I have a tried a lot of drug store eyeliners also because I love drugstore brands but sadly I think I'm too picky about my eyeliner to have found one that I'm satisfied with. One that I still do buy on and off just randomly is the Bourjois Kohl& Contour, that is usually good enough to last at least half the day. Other than that, the main drug store brands have unfortunately not been as good as I had hoped, although of course there are some that I still haven't been able to try yet, so here's hoping that those turn out better!
